September 8, 2025: Mooresboro, NC 28114 The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) soccer routed the visiting Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 12-0 in Monday's league contest.
Next, the Gryphons battle the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons (Morganton, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A contest, on Wednesday, September 10. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Dragons enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 9-0 league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC).
The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors enter the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Mountain Island Charter was overwhelmed by Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC), 9-3, in a non-league match.
