Illinois High School Soccer - Iroquois West toppled by First Baptist Christian
September 8, 2025: Danville, IL 61832 First Baptist Christian Knights (Danville, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, First Baptist Christian improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Covington (Covington, IN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Covington won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville, IN)
With the loss, Iroquois West moves to 2-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Watseka (Watseka, IL) to clash with the Warriors in a Vermilion Valley game on Tuesday, September 9. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 0-6. Watseka lost 10-1 in their recent non-league game against St. Anne (St. Anne, IL)
