North Carolina High School Soccer - Sugar Creek Charter toppled by Queen's Grant
September 8, 2025: Matthews, NC 28105 Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Queen's Grant moves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Stallions travel to NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC) to confront the Dragons in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing on Friday, September 12. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 3-2. NCSSM: Morganton lost 4-0 in their recent league outing against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A outing, on Wednesday, September 10. Sugar Creek Charter will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Mariners go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
