Oklahoma High School Softball - Arkoma bested by Howe
September 8, 2025: Arkoma, OK 74901 The Howe Lions triumphed over the host Arkoma Mustangs softball team by a margin of 19-0 in Monday's league battle.
The Lions now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pocola for a 2A battle on Tuesday, September 9. Howe will confront a Indians team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Bixby (Bixby, OK). The Indians record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Arkoma falls to 4-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Clayton (Clayton, OK) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-11.
