September 8, 2025: Checotah, OK 74426 Checotah Wildcats (Checotah, OK) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK), 5-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Checotah upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Glenpool (Glenpool, OK) to play the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, September 15. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 12-9.
In their next game, the Buffaloes confront the Ada Cougars (Ada, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 9. McAlester will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tupelo (Tupelo, OK).
