Georgia High School Softball - Randolph-Clay bounces Furlow Charter School
September 8, 2025: Americus, GA 31709 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) and the host Furlow Charter School Falcons (Americus, GA), observed Randolph-Clay's softball team prevail over Furlow Charter School by a tally of 18-9.
With the triumph, Randolph-Clay improves its record to 4-2 on the year. The Red Devils host Pelham (Pelham, GA) to face the Hornets in a 1A D-II Region 1 contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Hornets enter the bout with a record of 7-3. Pelham won 19-2 in their recent league bout against Terrell County (Dawson, GA)
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Wilcox County Patriots (Rochelle, GA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 15. Furlow Charter School will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 7-7 record after their 6-2 league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).
