North Carolina High School Volleyball - Parkwood over Buford

September 8, 2025: Monroe, NC 28112

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Buford Yellow Jackets (Lancaster, SC), observed Parkwood's volleyball team top Buford by a tally of 3-0.

The Wolf Pack (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Academy of Technology & Arts (Monroe, NC). The Cougars enter the Rocky River 4A/5A contest with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Central Academy of Technology & Arts was defeated by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 3-2, in a league test.

The Yellow Jackets now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Andrew Jackson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Buford will encounter a Volunteers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Volunteers record now stands at 3-10.
