In Monday's non-league bout, the Riverdale Warriors (Murfreesboro, TN) volleyball team held off the host Central Magnet (Murfreesboro, TN), by a margin of 3-2.

The Warriors now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Shelbyville Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. Riverdale will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Central Magnet drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The travel to Marshall County (Lewisburg, TN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 0-4.
