September 8, 2025: Bloomington, IL 61705 Peoria Christian Chargers (Peoria, IL) backers were satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Peoria Christian improves its record to 8-6 on the season. The Chargers host Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL) to face the Flying Geese in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Flying Geese go into the test with a record of 7-1. Wethersfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL)
The Cyclones now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Teresa for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13.
