Oregon High School Volleyball - Phoenix can't hold off Eagle Point
September 8, 2025: Phoenix, OR 97535 The Eagle Point Eagles held off the host Phoenix Pirates volleyball team by a margin of 3-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Crater for a 5A Midwestern bout on Thursday, September 11. Eagle Point will clash with a Comets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over North Medford (Medford, OR). The Comets record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Phoenix drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Yreka (Yreka, CA) to clash with the Miners in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. The Miners come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Yreka won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR)
