In Monday's non-league challenge, the host John Paul the Great Academy Guardians volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors.

The Guardians (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league challenge with a 101-226 record.

In their next game, the Ambassadors face the NELA Christian Homeschool Flame (Monroe, LA) in a ACEL test, on Tuesday, September 9. Psalms Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Flame go into the test with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bishop Noland Episcopal Day (Lake Charles, LA).
