Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Lakeland overwhelmed by Scranton
September 8, 2025: Jermyn, PA 18433 The Scranton Knights topped the host Lakeland Chiefs volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Monday's league outing.
The Knights now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Mid Valley for a Lackawanna outing on Monday, September 15. Scranton will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 league win over Lackawanna Trail (Factoryville, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Lakeland drops to 2-2 on the year. The Chiefs travel to Montrose (Montrose, PA) to confront the Meteors in a Lackawanna game on Thursday, September 11. The Meteors enter the game with a record of 2-1. Montrose won 3-1 in their recent league game against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA)
