California High School Volleyball - WISH Academy Marquez
September 8, 2025: Huntington Park, CA 90255 The Marquez Gladiators topped the visiting WISH Academy Owls volleyball team by a tally of 3-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Gladiators now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Banning for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 10. Marquez will play a Pilots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, WISH Academy drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Owls host New West Charter (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-2. New West Charter lost 3-2 in their recent league outing against Foshay (Los Angeles, CA)
