September 8, 2025: Oakfield, NY 14125 The Pavilion Golden Gophers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Oakfield-Alabama Hornets to 0 in the Golden Gophers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Gophers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host York for a Section 5 Livingston County III outing on Friday, September 12. Pavilion will play a Golden Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Oakfield-Alabama drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Webber (Lyndonville, NY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Wednesday, September 10. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 0-0.
