Boaz Pirates (Boaz, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Pirates clash with the Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL) in a 5A Area 13 match, on Tuesday, September 14. Boaz will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record.
