September 9, 2022: Huntsville, TN 37756 The Austin-East Roadrunners (Knoxville, TN) football overcame the host Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN), 24-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Roadrunners face the Northview Academy Cougars (Kodak, TN) in a 3A Region 2 bout, on Friday, September 16. Austin-East will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 70-35 non-league win over Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN).
The Highlanders (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN). The Green Hornets enter the 4A Region 2 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Carter thwarted Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN), 14-3, in a non-league bout.
