Pennsylvania High School Football - Northwestern Lehigh prevails Blue Mountain

September 9, 2022: New Tripoli, PA 18066

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers (New Tripoli, PA) and the visiting Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA), observed Northwestern Lehigh's football squad defeat Blue Mountain by a count of 30-3.

The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Pen Argyl for a Colonial-Schuylkill contest on Friday, September 16. Northwestern Lehigh will encounter a Green Knights squad coming off a 44-14 league loss to Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill contest, on Friday, September 16. Blue Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Crimson Tide go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 49-21 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
