Washington High School Football - Ferris knocked off by Cheney
September 9, 2022: Cheney, WA 99004 Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 15-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Cheney improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA) to battle the Bears in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Friday, September 16. The Bears come into the test with a record of 2-0. Central Valley won 38-7 in their recent league test against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)
With the loss, Ferris drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to battle the Bullpups in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Friday, September 16. The Bullpups come into the test with a record of 1-1. Gonzaga Prep lost 42-14 in their recent non-league test against St. John's (Washington, DC)
