Indiana High School Football - Fountain Central topples Covington

September 9, 2022: Veedersburg, IN 47987

The Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) football defeated the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 38-14 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Attica Red Ramblers (Attica, IN) in a Wabash River bout, on Friday, September 16. Fountain Central will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Red Ramblers enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 46-6 league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN).

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN). The Wildcats enter the Wabash River bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, South Vermillion defeated North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN), 35-19, in a league bout.
