The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) and the host Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS), observed Forest's football squad defeat Kemper County by a count of 32-22.

The Bearcats now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Lauderdale for a non-league contest on Friday, September 16. Forest will play a Trojans squad coming off a 35-21 non-league win over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
