In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fort Hill Sentinels football squad scored a close 9-7 victory over the Old Mill Patriots.

In their next game, the Sentinels clash with the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) in a Western Maryland match, on Saturday, September 17. Fort Hill will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 21-7 non-league loss to Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Arundel (Gambrills, MD). The Wildcats enter the Anne Arundel County match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Arundel was nudged by Smyrna (Smyrna, DE), 14-0, in a non-league match.
