September 9, 2022: Carroll, IA 51401 In Friday's non-league game, the Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) football team smashed the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), by a final score of 35-0.
The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson-Scranton (Jefferson, IA). The Rams come into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Jefferson-Scranton was trounced by Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (Faribault, MN), 42-14, in a non-league game.
The Rams now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Des Moines Christian for a 2A District 8 game on Friday, September 16. Greene County will battle a Lions team coming off a 32-27 non-league loss to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
