The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Starkville Academy (Starkville, MS). The Volunteers come into the MAIS 5A District 1 challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Starkville Academy trounced French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS), 42-10, in a non-league challenge.
The Generals now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indianola Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Washington will meet a Colonels team coming off a 46-13 league loss to St. Joseph (Greenville, MS). The Colonels record now stands at 1-3.
