September 9, 2022: Lanett, AL 36863 The Lanett Panthers football team (Lanett, AL), was beaten 28-18 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL)
The Flying Squadron (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL). The Generals come into the 2A Region 3 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Horseshoe Bend was beaten by Luverne (Luverne, AL), 12-0, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Luverne for a 2A Region 3 challenge on Friday, September 16. Lanett will meet a Tigers team coming off a 12-0 league win over Horseshoe Bend (New Site, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
