In Friday's league game, the Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) football team were victorious over the visiting John Jay Wolves (Cross River, NY), by a score of 20-7.

The Tuskers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Eastchester (Eastchester, NY). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Eastchester knocked off Mahopac (Mahopac, NY), 13-7, in a league game.
