The St. Bede Bruins football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Kewanee Boilermakers to 20 in the Bruins league win on Friday.

The Bruins now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Newman Central Catholic for a Three Rivers - Mississippi battle on Friday, September 16. St. Bede will play a Comets squad coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Orion (Orion, IL). The Comets record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Boilermakers play the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a Three Rivers - Mississippi battle, on Friday, September 16. Kewanee will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
