The Mineral Point Pointers football team (Mineral Point, WI), was tipped 34-27 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Potosi/Cassville (Potosi, WI)

The (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Benton/Scales Mound IL/Shullsburg (Benton, WI). The come into the Six Rivers challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Benton/Scales Mound IL/Shullsburg nipped Parkview/Albany (Orfordville, WI), 58-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Pointers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Friday, September 16. Mineral Point will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 28-7 non-league loss to River Ridge (Patch Grove, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
