Florida High School Football - Mitchell routs River Ridge

September 9, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34654

The Mitchell Mustangs football squad scored 40 points and restricted the host River Ridge Royal Knights to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wiregrass Ranch for a 4S District 6 battle on Friday, September 16. Mitchell will play a Bulls squad coming off a 31-10 non-league loss to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 1-2.

Coming up next, the Royal Knights play the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) in a 3S District 6 battle, on Friday, September 16. River Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Buccaneers enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 21-0 non-league win over Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL).
