Massachusetts High School Soccer - Bishop Connolly nudges Southeastern RVT
September 9, 2022: South Easton, MA 02375 Bishop Connolly Cougars (Fall River, MA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Southeastern RVT Hawks (South Easton, MA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cougars face the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen (Taunton, MA) in a Mayflower challenge, on Monday, September 12. Bishop Connolly will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Craftsmen enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Old Colony RVT (Rochester, MA).
The Hawks now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bristol County Agricultural for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12. Southeastern RVT will face a Chieftains team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Wareham (Wareham, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-1.
