Maryland High School Soccer - Broadneck held off by Bowie
September 9, 2022: Bowie, MD 20715 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) and the visiting Broadneck Bruins (Annapolis, MD), saw Bowie's soccer squad get by Broadneck by a margin of 2-1.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they host High Point for a Prince George's County 4A test on Monday, September 12. Bowie will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Broadneck drops to 0-1 on the season. The Bruins travel to Meade (Fort Meade, MD) to meet the Mustangs in a Anne Arundel County test on Tuesday, September 27. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 3-0. Meade won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bladensburg (Bladensburg, MD)
