In Friday's non-league contest, the Central Cobras (Fort Pierce, FL) volleyball squad edged the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Cobras battle the Huntsville Panthers (Huntsville, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 10. Central will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 19-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Key West (Key West, FL).

With the loss, Merritt Island drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Episcopal School of Jacksonville (Jacksonville, FL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 10.
