The Cherokee Chiefs volleyball team (Rogersville, TN), went down 2-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN)

The Tigers (18-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Beech (Hendersonville, TN). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Beech went down by Station Camp (Gallatin, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs encounter the Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 10. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 3-11 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brewer (Somerville, AL).
