The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Giddings Buffaloes (Giddings, TX) and the host Manor New Tech (Manor, TX), saw Giddings's volleyball squad beat Manor New Tech by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Giddings upgrades its record to 18-14 on the year. The Buffaloes host Austin Achieve (Austin, TX) to play the Polar Bears in a 4A Region III District 22 bout on Friday, September 16. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a record of 1-6.
