The Gunter Tigers prevailed the host Howe Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Tigers now have a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonham for a 3A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, September 13. Gunter will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-15.

The Bulldogs (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Leonard (Leonard, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region II District 11 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Leonard dropped by Prairiland (Pattonville, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
