California High School Volleyball - West tips Mt. Whitney
September 9, 2022: Visalia, CA 93277 West Vikings (Bakersfield, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Vikings battle the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 9. West will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Scots come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Kennedy (Delano, CA).
With the loss, Mt. Whitney drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Chavez (Delano, CA) to battle the Titans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 10. The Titans come into the match with a record of 11-5. Chavez won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Taft (Taft, CA)
