Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host NSU University Sharks (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Eagles now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John Paul II Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. Southwest will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Broward (Pembroke Pines, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-10.

The Sharks (1-7) will now prepare for their game against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart (Miami, FL). The enter the non-league game with a 2-10 record. In their last game, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart was dropped by Western (Davie, FL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
