September 9, 2023: McHenry, IL 60050 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) and the visiting Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), saw McHenry's soccer squad get by Hononegah by a margin of 1-0.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hampshire for a test on Monday, September 11. McHenry will meet a Whip-Purs squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Whip-Purs record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Hononegah drops to 6-2 on the season. The Indians host Guilford (Rockford, IL) to meet the Vikings in a test on Monday, September 11. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 1-1. Guilford won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Larkin (Elgin, IL)
