September 9, 2023: Battle Ground, WA 98604 Battle Ground Tigers (Battle Ground, WA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the La Center Wildcats (La Center, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Battle Ground will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Bush (Seattle, WA).
The Pirates now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sunnyside for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Davis will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Grandview (Grandview, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-2.
