With the win, Pike Road upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to LAMP (Montgomery, AL) to face the Golden Tigers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 18. The Golden Tigers go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
The Blue Devils now own a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lee County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 12. Columbus will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Valdosta (Valdosta, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
