September 9, 2023: La Crosse, WI 54601 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Aquinas Blugolds (La Crosse, WI) and the visiting Wayland Academy Big Red (Beaver Dam, WI), saw Aquinas's soccer squad triumph over Wayland Academy by a margin of 9-1.
The Blugolds now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Sparta for a Mississippi Valley test on Tuesday, September 12. Aquinas will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Tomah (Tomah, WI). The Spartans record now stands at 1-6.
