September 9, 2023: Yarmouth, ME 04096 Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Clippers confront the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a Class B - South challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Yarmouth will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Capers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-2 league Freeport (Freeport, ME).
The Dragons now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hampden for a Class A - North challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Brunswick will confront a Broncos team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Broncos record now stands at 0-1.
