September 9, 2023: Montrose, PA 18801 The Towanda Black Knights soccer team scored 6 points and limited the host Montrose Meteors to 1 in the Black Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Black Knights face the Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA) in a North Tier contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Towanda will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 5-1 league loss to Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA).
The Meteors now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forest City for a non-league contest on Monday, September 11. Montrose will face a Foresters team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Gregory The Great Academy (Elmhurst Township, PA). The Foresters record now stands at 1-3.
