Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Shamokin Area overwhelmed by Nativity BVM
September 9, 2023: Pottsville, PA 17901 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) and the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA), saw Nativity BVM's soccer squad beat Shamokin Area by a count of 4-0.
The Green Wave now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional for a Schuylkill County 2 test on Monday, September 11. Nativity BVM will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Shamokin Area drops to 0-3 on the season. The Indians host Milton (Milton, PA) to meet the Black Panthers in a Heartland I test on Tuesday, September 12. The Black Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-1. Milton won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA)
