New Jersey High School Soccer - Vineland can't get by Sterling
September 9, 2023: Somerdale, NJ 08083 In Saturday's non-league test, the host Sterling Silver Knights soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Vineland Fighting Clan.
The Silver Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Collingswood for a Colonial test on Tuesday, September 12. Sterling will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 7-1 league loss to West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Vineland drops to 0-1 on the season. The Fighting clan travel to Millville (Millville, NJ) to meet the Thunderbolts in a Cape/Atlantic - American test on Tuesday, September 12. The Thunderbolts come into the test with a record of 1-1. Millville won 6-3 in their recent league test against Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ)
