Missouri High School Softball - Battle can't get by Lebanon
September 9, 2023: Columbia, MO 65202 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lebanon Yellowjackets (Lebanon, MO) softball team held off the host Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO), by a margin of 6-5.
With the triumph, Lebanon moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Kickapoo (Springfield, MO) to play the Chiefs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Chiefs come into the contest with a record of 9-2. Kickapoo won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Zumwalt West (O'Fallon, MO)
In their next game, the Spartans play the Camdenton Lakers (Camdenton, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 11. Battle will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 9-3 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Timberland (Wentzville, MO).
