Oklahoma High School Softball - Valliant holds off Buffalo Valley
September 9, 2023: Talihina, OK 74571 Valliant Bulldogs (Valliant, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Buffalo Valley Buffaloes (Talihina, OK), 4-2 in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs now sport a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tishomingo for a non-league match on Monday, September 11. Valliant will meet a Indians squad coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Colbert (Colbert, OK). The Indians record now stands at 12-15.
With the loss, Buffalo Valley moves to 13-8 on the season. The Buffaloes host Wright City (Wright City, OK) to meet the Lumberjax in a non-league match on Monday, September 11. The Lumberjax go into the match with a record of 6-12. Wright City lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Rattan (Rattan, OK)
