Missouri High School Softball - Fort Zumwalt West gets by Carthage
September 9, 2023: Carthage, MO 64836 The Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars (O'Fallon, MO) softball nipped the host Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO). The Flyers go into the non-league bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Lindbergh held off Valley Park (Valley Park, MO), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Webb City for a Class 4 District 12 bout on Tuesday, September 12. Carthage will confront a Cardinals squad coming off a 14-10 league win over Joplin (Joplin, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
