Missouri High School Softball - Hardin-Central can't get by Worth County
September 9, 2023: Hardin, MO 64035 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Worth County Tigers (Grant City, MO) softball team held off the host Hardin-Central Bulldogs (Hardin, MO), by a margin of 11-10.
With the triumph, Worth County moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Albany (Albany, MO) to play the Warriors in a Class 1 District 15 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Albany won 9-1 in their recent non-league contest against King City (King City, MO)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Meadville Eagles (Meadville, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 11. Hardin-Central will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Lathrop (Lathrop, MO).
