September 9, 2023: Van Horne, IA 52346 Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Lions battle the Ogden Bulldogs (Ogden, IA) in a West Central match, on Tuesday, September 12. Des Moines Christian will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Perry (Perry, IA).
With the loss, Benton drops to 6-10 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to West Marshall (State Center, IA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. The Trojans come into the match with a record of 3-10. West Marshall lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Roland-Story (Story City, IA)
