The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA) and the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), saw Briar Woods's volleyball squad beat Western Albemarle by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Briar Woods upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA) to play the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Rock Ridge lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Riverside (Leesburg, VA)

The Warriors now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Louisa County for a Jefferson bout on Tuesday, September 12. Western Albemarle will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
